In this seminar, students will practice theological reflection through their experiences of ministry and the church. Various models of theological reflection will be introduced. The seminar will also provide an opportunity for students to continue developing their goals and plans for ministry formation in light of their theological reflections. Restricted to students enrolled in the MDiv program. Prerequisite: BTS-5491. Corequisite: BTS-5910 or BTS-5920 (as posted at www.cmu.ca).
Throughout this syllabus, “ministry” is understood more broadly than roles such as pastor, missionary, chaplain, etc., and is not limited to employed work.
