COMM-3950 Topics – Advanced Graphic Design: (3.0 credit hours) This course is a further study of the principles of design, notably as they work together in visual communication strategy. Student projects and exploration will include corporate identities, editorial and publication design, web page layout and grid systems. Other topics include history and theory of visual culture, use of photography and illustration, and a continuation of the study of typography. A technology fee will be assessed for this course. Prerequisite: COMM-2050.
