This course explores the dynamic and evolving
character of Anabaptist identity over a 500-year period. It attends to the
various theological impulses that shaped Anabaptism in its early phases and
then explores developments in the centuries that followed, leading to a description
and assessment of Anabaptism in its contemporary and global context. Special
attention will be given to the Anabaptist-Mennonite story
