This seminar will explore vocation and calling through biblical and theological lenses. Through it, students will engage in reflection and examination of their own vocational calling and gifts through reading, writing, and personal reflection together with their broader Christian community. As a preparative seminar, it will assist students in developing a plan for ministry formation that supports their ministry calling. …MDiv students are required to take this seminar normally during the first 12 credit hours of their program. MA students are also welcome to take this course” (as posted at www.cmu.ca).

Throughout this course, “ministry” is understood more broadly than roles such as pastor, missionary, chaplain, etc., and is not limited to employed work.
